One benefit that you didn’t mention is that being able to read music, and understanding music is just another language. It allows musicians to communicate, well musically. I put off learning to sight read at first and when I started was discouraged, as a beginner, because it is so boring. However, my neighbor is a musician, mainly jazz/blues, but he helped me understand that it’s just a language in which we as musicians can use to communicate ideas, so I’m back at it again, LoL. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication Justin. It is greatly appreciated.
